2025 Players of the Week

 

-Week 1

 

 

Isaac Sasson - The #1 overall pick came to play. Isaac went 4-for-8 with 2 bombs and 4 RBIs, while flashing the leather at shortstop. He lived up to the hype—and then some.

 

Eli Cohen - The 17-year-old rookie made a statement in his BKS debut—going 4-for-6 with 2 doubles and 3 runs scored. Smooth, confident, and efficient against some tough pitching.

 

Marc Cohen - Marc was dealing on Opening Day, leading his new squad, the Matzah Ballers, to a dominant sweep over the Wrecking Balls. He struck out 9 and even added some highlight-reel defense to the mix.


-Week 2

 



Joey Alhadeff - Joey made a major statement in his rookie debut, going 6-for-8 with 3 doubles, a home run, and 4 RBI! He also anchored the defense with lights-out play at shortstop, helping his Black Mambas squad earn a hard-fought split. Big-time impact from Day 1!

Maurice “Mo P” Pardes - In his BKS rookie debut, Mo P came through in a big way — going 4-for-7 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and a run scored! His clutch bat helped spark the Brooklyn Dodgers to a key sweep, improving their record to 3-1. Welcome to the league, Mo P!

 

Jack Rishty - Jack was locked in at the plate this week, going a perfect 8-for-8 with a double and 3 runs scored! He helped lead the Matzah Ballers to a huge sweep, staying undefeated at 4-0 to start the season. Big-time performance!


-Week 3

 

 

Salim Khalouf
The rookie pitcher led the Bedford Bombers to a sweep over the 3–1 Brooklyn Dodgers. Salim allowed just 6 runs combined across both games, with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. At the plate, he went 4-for-8 with a 2-run homer, 2 RBIs, and 3 runs scored.

 

Mordy Chrem 
Usually known for his glove at shortstop, Mordy proved he can handle the mound too. He pitched all 14 innings for Kai Pera, giving up just 6 earned runs, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts, including a Game 2 shutout. He also went 4-for-7 with 3 doubles, 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored.

The captain of the undefeated Matzah Ballers kept the momentum going, hitting 5-for-7 with 2 doubles, 5 RBIs, and 3 runs scored in a sweep over the Black Mambas. The Ballers now sit at a league-best 6–0.


-Week 4

 

Morris "Moco" Cohen (Wrecking Balls)
In his debut with the Wrecking Balls, Moco wasted no time making his presence felt, going 4-for-6 with a home run and 4 RBIs. Despite his impressive individual performance, the Wrecking Balls were swept, but Moco’s bat showed he’s ready to make an impact for his new team.

 

Joey Betesh (Brooklyn Dodgers)
The captain of the Brooklyn Dodgers put on a show, going 6-for-8 with 4 doubles, a home run, 5 RBIs, and a walk, leading his squad to a dominant sweep over the Black Mambas. With the wins, the Dodgers now sit at 5-3 and right back in the playoff hunt. As this week's standout, Joey also takes home a free bathing suit from Harmonqlo!

 

MoMo Levy (Matzah Ballers) - CARD COMING SOON!
MoMo Levy continued his incredible season, going 5-for-7 with 2 doubles, 3 RBIs, and a walk, powering the Matzah Ballers to yet another sweep. With the victories, the Matzah Ballers remain undefeated at a league-best 8-0. MoMo’s consistent play has been a driving force behind their perfect run.


-Week 5

 

Mickey Epstein (Bedford Bombers)
Mickey Epstein came up clutch time and time again, leading the Bedford Bombers to a crucial sweep over the Wrecking Balls to improve to 5-3. Mickey was 3-for-6 with a home run, a triple, 3 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. Both of his extra-base hits were game-changing—one to tie it up, the other to seal the win. On the defensive side, Mickey was a vacuum at third base, flashing the leather and shutting down rallies.

 

Aaron Levy (Kai Pera)
Aaron Levy powered his Kai Pera squad to a dominant sweep over the Black Mambas, going 4-for-6 with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, 5 runs scored, 2 walks, and 4 RBIs in his 8 plate appearances. His explosive bat helped elevate Kai Pera into second place, now sitting at 6-2. Aaron’s big swings are putting the league on notice. Aaron also takes home a free bathing suit from Harmonqlo!

 

Joseph "Jojo" Cohen (Matzah Ballers)
The Man of Harmonqlo continued to shine for the undefeated Matzah Ballers, going 5-for-7 with 2 runs, a double, and 2 RBIs. Jojo was a wall at third base, locking down the hot corner and making every play look routine. His performance helped the Matzah Ballers complete yet another sweep, pushing their record to a league-best 10-0. This team is rolling, and Jojo is right at the heart of it.


-Week 6

 

 

Aaron “Lenny” Laniado (Kai Pera)
Lenny came through in a big way for Kai Pera, going 4-for-5 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, 2 runs, 1 RBI, and drawing 2 walks in 7 plate appearances. His steady bat helped power his squad to a big-time sweep over the Brooklyn Dodgers, as Kai Pera climbs to 8-2 and takes firm hold of second place heading into the final stretch.

 

Joey Polansky (Black Mambas)
Joey Polansky stepped up when his team needed it most, going 5-for-7 with a triple, 4 runs, 2 RBIs, and a walk across 8 plate appearances. He also flashed the leather at third base, making several tough plays and locking down the hot corner in a must-needed split against the Bedford Bombers. The Black Mambas now move to 2-8 and keep their playoff hopes alive.

 


-Week 7

 

Jacky “Old Man” Schweky (Wrecking Balls)
The veteran showed he’s still got it, tossing back-to-back complete games for the Wrecking Balls while allowing just 6 earned runs total. Jacky also struck out 4 and didn’t walk a single batter, helping his squad to a gritty split in Week 7.

 

Teddy Kurtz (Kai Pera)
Teddy came through in the clutch for Kai Pera, going 3-for-7 with a home run, a double, and 2 RBIs in their split with the league-leading Matzah Ballers. His big hits helped Kai Pera lock in the #2 seed heading into the postseason.

 

Albert H. Dweck (Bedford Bombers)
Albert closed out the regular season red-hot, going 6-for-7 with 3 runs, 1 RBI, and a walk. His consistent bat helped the Bombers secure a key split and lock in the #3 seed heading into the playoffs with a 7-5 record.
